Sunfish turned Super Porpoise

Hi everyone,

I just bought what was thought to be a Sunfish, except it's really a Super Porpoise (surprise!). Does anyone know where I can find an owner's manual for this boat, or what other type of sailboat is compatible with it for information, parts, etc? I've built and worked with dories for years, and this is my first fiberglass sailboat so I'm feeling a bit lost with it right now.

Hi everyone,

I got the same surprise when I bought a Porpoise II.

My unsolicited advice?

Sell it—hopefully at a profit—and get yourself a genuine Sunfish with the new-style rudder.

Thanks for the replies! I am just getting frustrated with not being able to find any information on this boat- should I just treat it like a bigger, heavier Sunfish?
