Third Annual Harkers Island Regatta - August 14 & 15
All road warriors are welcome to join MOBYC for a two day Sunfish only regatta sailed out of Harkers Island, NC. Great sailing venue with grassy beach launching area, normally steady ocean breezes, room for camping, inexpensive hotels on-island, activities ashore for non-sailors and party Saturday night at the clubhouse. Weekend racing consists of 10+ mile race around Harkers Island Saturday afternoon and buoy racing Sunday morning. Normally a couple dozen boats on the line depending on weather conditions.
