I'm not sure what kind of boats the others were. Also, my service here in the boathouse is spotty and the photos intended for the above post didn't download. My apologies, I'll try to delete and clean them up.What were the other boats? Our Day Sailer is a planing hull around 98, with a Sunfish being 114ish.
I had a blue-decked Sunfish once before and regret selling it. The sail was one I’ve not seen before or since.
i should ad, thats one of the $350 fleet hes sailing.
I'd have to say that my favorite thing about my Sunfish is... she's a Beast. In other news, we have been commissioned to write a boat review on the Sunfish for Small Boats Magazine, they are finally ready for an article on the World's Beast Boat. What's your favorite thing about the Sunfish?
Sorry, I have been away from the forum for a while. Yes the single bolt allows it to swivel. Each bunk has a single bolt. Is that designed so each bunk can automatically adjust to the hull?
This looks so much easier!!! I have the Harbor Freight fold up model. It’s folded up in my garage, but I’ve never tried attaching and pulling it. After hiring out to a Dad/son combo to repack the bearings, I just didn’t have the wherewithal to figure out how to put a sunfish on it securely.
Rats! That so much more room thing....but a mid-drive fold? Double rats!It is so much easier. And takes up so much more room. My concern with a folding trailer is that it will try to return to its folded state at inopportune times. You could store your Sunfish on the Carry On...
OMG! Is that a Carver in the pic on the right???The French Door Fairy paid a visit to Lewis Boat Works. Lighting and ventilation are much improved, and Skipper can Skippervise from a shady spot now.

We had to dig out a few Alcort parts and that turned into a whole day of boat and car washing. It's dry and dusty here in Virginia. The Alcort crowd is eyeing the runabout with suspicion.
