I was thinking about making a foredeck storage bag...obviously the sail tack wouldn't be deck sweeping. I've made some other small bags for smaller stuff...but one large enough for some lunch and any xtra stuff could be handy for those casual cruising days. No thicker than a garmet bag and would be easy to secure with straps to the mast and bow handle and bungee held clips to the sides. Should easily survive a capsize and also be out of the way (raise the rig a little!)
Any comments or additional input?
Here is one of the bags. The others have snaps to close the top in case of knockdown

Good idea! I've wanted to find a way to put a stretchy cargo net across the rear compartment so that stuff doesn't wander out.
