The Roanoke Island Maritime Museum in Manteo NC is a working museum with wood boat building and rope making. We will be holding a small boat regatta July 31, 2010 that will include shad and moth boats. There will be alot of glass sunfish racing too. We would love to see your beautiful wooden sunfish. If July 31 does not work for you let us know what does. Manteo is a great waterfront town to visit and we are a hop and skip away from the Atlantic Ocean. You can make a week of it and visit the resort areas.
