Hello Laser, Laser Radial Racers and Friends:
The Laser District 25 Championship will be contested August 31st-September 1st, in conjunction with the Alamitos Bay Yacht Club (ABYC) Labor Day Holiday Regatta in Long Beach CA: http://www.abyc.org/fleetracing/event.cfm?id=653&fleet_id=15
There will be separate starts and a District 25 perpetual trophy for both Lasers and Radials.

The District 25 Championship is also a scored regatta for ILCA-NA Grand Prix points: http://www.laser.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=1002:2013-ilca-na-grand-prix-system&catid=38:vanguard-grand-prix&Itemid=197. Competitors for the Laser D25 Championship must be members in good standing of the International Laser Class Association-North America.
This weekend will also include the first event of the Southern California Youth Yacht Racing Association (SCYYRA) 2013-2014 Ullman/Frost Series: http://www.scyyra.org/ullman_frost/c/C18. Please note, separate registration and entry fee is required to participate in the Ullman/Frost Series.
This will be an excellent warm-up for the ABYC Olympic and Junior Olympic Classes Regatta September 14-15.
Always excellent Race Management by ABYC and the Party and entertainment Saturday evening is not to be missed.
