SailX (aka Tacticat) organizes a big event dedicated to CATS.
With the name 'SailX World Cat Championship' and sponsorized by several organizations giving the prizes.
The event is open for all registered users, no fee. And will be hold during the last weekend of November in times that will be convenient for sailors world-wide.
SailX as virtual environment for tactical training was created by Cat sailors and this event somewhat tries to pay homage to the cat-sailing community who gave initially its support.
This event (9 big regattas) will be sailed ONLY with SailX cats.
