Captains, good day.

I ask for advice on the installation of sailing equipment on a touristic rafting catamaran
Characteristics:
Length 4m
Width 2m
Load - 170 kg
Mast height - 4.2 m
Rudder area - 0.3 m2
Keel (daggerboard) area - 0.3 m2
The main propulsion is a academic style rowing equpment.
Sailing area - 7.2 m2
Water area - Oka and Volga river

During the trips along the Vetluga and the Oka russian revers, several types of sailing equipment were tested - a straight sail, a proa and a sprint sail.
This armament allows us to sail no more than 10-15 degrees steeper than a Gulfwind.

In hauled wind, the catamaran rolled away downwind and it was possible to return it to the course only by turning the steering wheel sullenly.
On a steeper course, drag exceeds thrust.
The tent can be lowered during the sailing, but the spars should not interfere with setting up the tent.
A floating catamaran initially has a high landing and high drag due to things on the deck and round balloons.

It became clear that it was necessary to shift the center of resistance forward and increase windage.
This year a centerboard was added and the sail was divided into a staysail and a sprint main sail. Added 1.2 m2 of windage
The result is this scheme:

I will be glad to any practical advice on how to improve the characteristics of sailing equipment for such a catamaran.

Fair winds to all and seven feet under the keel!
Alexander
