Sailfish rigging

Refinishing/repairs nearly done on Sailfish (circa?..) Question about rigging…. I see a lot about Sunfish, including Signal Charlie’s book (thank you). Do Sailfish not have a main sheet swivel/ratchet block or cleat? This has only the cleat on the mast step. Am hesitant to add without clearly know what’s where on the insides and we didn’t have to go that far.
 
Sailfish stopped production in 73. Most racers had moved to the sunfish and rachets began to show about 73 74. The sunfish with the lip are perfect for a rachet. I would not put a rachet on on a sailfish as screws would be threw the deck a could allow water.
 
Is you Sailfish wooden or fiberglass?

Either way, we would not add a block/cleat etc... to a Sailfish, they are very lively boats with narrow beams and you need to be handling the sheet at all times. If it is so windy that a block would be helpful, the rest of your body will be worn out from hiking and tacking and capsize recovery before the arms give up :)
