Hi, I got a used sunfish for christmas. I took it out today rigged with3/8 rope, But it seemed a little flimzy. What is recommended?

Yes, 3/8 is correct for the mainsheet (3/8 x 25 feet). By the way, where in the US are you sailing?

thanks for the info and the link to the guide. I live on lake greenwood in sc. It's not a great lake to sail... very gusty with narow banks, but its great for sking. I'm just getting back into sailing and would welcome all advice... mike b
