Has anyone ever participated in series that is similar to this?
There are multiple regattas, each scheduled at a different club. At each venue you sail a different boat which is supplied by the local club (probably the boat of choice at that club to make it simple). The scoring is based on a team concept where each participating club sends one team/competitor to each event and the overall results of the regattas are combined to produce a winning club.
I would be curious to hear opinions on the positives and negatives of such a series, or experiences with a similar concept.
