I have a laser 1. 2008 but stored for 7 years
Its a dry boat and mast step does not leak but looking at the mast and mast step its seen some heavy wear on the front and bottom even though it was sailed only for a few years.
I suspect sand and poor cleaning schedule. We sail off a slip so I dont think sand will be a problem from now on.
Is it possible to re gel coat the inside at the front/bottom of the step.
Any experiences techniques gratefully recd.
I was thinking a tiny roller on a long stick.
