Any comments (good or bad) on buying a new racing sail for a sunfish? Laser Performance, Sunfish Direct, Intensity. I sail in a small sailing club and need to upgrade my sail.

If you want to be class legal, any Sunfish dealer, including SFD, can sell you a class-legal sail. For unknown reasons, the manufacturer of Sunfish has kept them in short supply, but you should be able to get one by next racing season.
intensity sails perform well and are permitted at most sanctioned Sunfish regattas, but if you use one at a a worlds qualifying event you can’t qualify for the worlds with it.

If you just want to race in your club, I would recommend the Intensity Sails version. As beldar implied, Class-legal race sails are hard to come by right now.
