I pciked up my Capri from a friend who used it for some frostbiting. He told me that while it was moored at his dock the bow painter "let go" and the stern rubbed up against the metal dock. I was expecting a few scrapes. Attached is a picture of what I found when I got the boat trailered and back home. He's mortified and the local boatyard says that they won't even look at it until May. So, folks, I'm hoping that there's some advice availaible on whether this is something I can repair myself or I'm high and dry until the boatyard finishes the repair (probably in June the way they work). :-(
