PVC pipe

Hello all,

I'm upgrading my spar transport system on my trailer from lashing it down to PVC storage tubes.

So the question.... will a 4" tube hold all 3 spars? Or do I need 6"?

Also, any sort of suggestions on creative mounting will be greatly appriciated.

hola.

I have two of those pvc pipes on my trailer. you can barely fit (but they fit) all three spars (boom, bottom and top section) in a 6 inch pipe. I carry the lower section and the boom on one pipe and the top section and a sail rolled around it on the other pipe....works for me...best of luck.

if you dont take the vang off, the 3 will not fit in a 6" pipe...how do I know?

make certain there is something to keep the spars from banging around and hurting each other.

Simply tossing them in a tube like that guarantees parts from one section will dig nasty holes in other sections.
