Passing of Brian Weeks

Remembering Brian Weeks Past US Sunfish Class President
It is a sorrowful moment to announce the passing of our friend Brian Weeks. He has been a huge supporter of boating, sailing and especially dinghy sailing on the Great South Bay and Nationally as a Past President of the US Sunfish Class Association, builder of Force Fives and DN Class Ice Boats, author of several articles and is published in the Sunfish Bible. He has helped many of us with advice, repairing our boats, and supplying boat parts in a pinch. Until his medical issues of the past several years, Brian competitively raced his Sunfish and supported Wet Pants and Sayville YC...he will surely be missed by us all.

I will miss Brian's enthusiasm and his great laugh. I remember him winning the NY downstate regionals in the early/mid '90s, so he was a tough competitor. So sorry to hear this news. Chris
