Olympic sails

Just reviewing pictures of the Olympics and I've only just noticed that, although the Radial sails looked standard, the full one aren't.

They are tri-radial cut in a higher tech material. Is this a portent of things to come?
 
Can you post a clear picture of this, from what I've could assertain, they are a normal sail with a blue section on a diagonal which also has the competitors country, could be paint, vinyl adhesive, or something else, but the still appears to be the normall panels. A radial cut standard sail is awaiting final approval before being released to the laser community
 
That has to be a big oops Stephen, been on the gin again? ;)

Although if you believe the thread in the Politics section the new sails MIGHT be available mid-year. I shall visit Hell and see if it is chilly.....
