Newer Boat Serial Number Question

Been bouncing around the internet trying to figure out the exact age and hull number of my boat. Everything I have found only helps if your boat is a '97 or older. My boat is a Vanguard and the serial number is:

T38315K304

I believe it is a 2004, correct?

What part of the number is the hull number? (38315?)

The whole sequence is the Federal Hull ID for state registration or title purposes.

That number should breakdown this way

OQT ... Quarter Moon Enterprises -dba- Vanguard

38315 ... production number (specific significance not known)

K3 ... production month and year (K=November) November 2003

04 ... model year, 2004
