I've acquired a Rooster carbon tiller and extension with the Laser I bought at the weekend. The current universal joint seems quite stiff. Also, the tiller and extension have been stored connected and folded for a long time, so the joint is deformed in the opposite direction to its in-use position and feels like it might be a bit brittle too - it certainly doesn't flex nicely. So, I think I may as well replace the universal joint for peace of mind. Is there a better option than the stock RWO Omniflex joint? I guess I could get the same type but with rope core for extra security? Also, are there any suitable options that have a gymbal that allows the extension to fully rotate? I know this is overkill, but if I'm replacing it, why not....
