New (to me) Laser

Hi guys, I'm new to laser sailing so I have a couple of questions I hope you can answer.
My new (to me) boat is a mid nineties laser full rig in superb condition. The centreboard needs some tiny filling but that's pretty much it.
My first question is on the centreboard. It has two holes in the top, I'm assuming for bungee and a stopper or something, can somebody post a pic of how it should look set up? Is it a plastic stopper or just a rope handle?

Yellow line is to attach shockcord (or remove it and run shockcord directly thru the front hole..)

You are allowed a "handle" to help pull the board up.. A few different ways of creating it.. typical are the "stick shift" or a loop - max of two additional holes thru the board - see class rules for more info on holes etc.. You can create the loop thru one hole or two... like this:

how big can the holes be? and is their a certain spot where they need to be?

14. CENTREBOARD
(a) A rope handle passing through not more than two
holes of maximum diameter 12.5 mm above a line
drawn from the bottom of the centreboard stop,
parallel to the top of the centreboard is permitted.
A plastic/rubber tube and/or tape are permitted on
the handle of the centreboard.

Class rules are here:
