Hello all,



By now, many you have received the new issue of The Laser Sailor, along
with the International handbook. The feature article is an interview
with Dick Rose on Rule 42 (kinetics). There's also a sidebar article
with comments from the leadership of college and high-school sailing
along with a top young competitor.



As per the article, we have asked Bradley Green, who maintains The Laser
Forum (http://www2.laserforum.org/vb/), to create a new "space" so that
a discussion can start about the article and how to create a positive
climate and eliminate some of the problems surrounding abusing the
rules.



Reading the article, you will note that many folks think that not
understanding the real dos and don'ts is the genesis of the problem.



Let's all get on the same page before the season starts!
