I finally did it...brought home a late 60's vintage Fish today. I'm very pleased, as the rudder conversion has already been done, and the boat is dry! She needs a good compounding and maybe a re-do of a hull patch, but dang, I'm pleased with it...
Only drawback is the sail...it is utterly on its last legs. Does anyone on the board want to part with a used sail, or should I just bite the bullet and order one on the internet? I think I can get one or two trips out of it, but that will be it. Even then, I am going to scrub the heck out of it and re-patch a bunch of holes before the shakedown.
Anyway, let me know if someone wants to get rid of a sail, before I break out the credit card for a new one! Thanks!
