moving to New Haven question

hey all- so I'm uprooting from the Great Salt Lake area and moving to New Haven CT. I have to say, I'm really looking forward to sailing in the Long Island Sound and not always sailing by myself but I'm having one problem and that is finding other sailors in the New Haven area to answer my questions. Of most importance, where the hell are people launching their boats? I see many sailing clubs/marinas where you have to pay 1000+ a year to use the facilities but no city launches besides Lighthouse point.

PS- I'm available for sailing any day after September 10th as I have no job and dont plan on getting one too soon so let me know if you want to go.

You need to go up on State of CT boat launch sites. it will direct you to sites near New Haven. We live in the New London area and have lots of places to plunk the boat.
