Minfish year?

I have an AMF Alcort Minifish that I'm selling but I'm not sure about the year it was made. I belive it was made it in '81. The serial is AMF 93499M 811?
Do the last three digits mean April 1981? Thanks.

According to my copy of the USCG, Back to Basics, HIN 101 you are right on. The last character would be the letter "I" not the numeral "1" for the month code.
