Four races today, VERY light wind out of the east. Cloudy, cool (a relief!), a little drizzle at the end of the day. ;)

Rich Chapman in the lead, Matt Fisher, 2nd, Shapoor Guzder is 3rd. A couple fleets had 8 boats overlapped at the finish line. Good, competitive racing.

Four more races tomorrow if the weather cooperates. Throwouts, if 2 more races are sailed, will also do some scrambling.

And the winner is: Rich Chapman! He was almost perfect with 7 points in a 7 race regatta with one throwout.

Congratulations to 2nd place finisher, new to the Class, Matt Fisher, just back from the Lightning Worlds.

And 3rd place went to Brian McGinnis, visiting from Remsenberg, NY, as he continues his tour of the Regions.

Fourth was Cricket Herndon, and 5th went to Karyn Herndon.

Today was mostly cloudy, delayed about an hour while waiting for wind, upper 70's until we got to shore, when the wind came in it was WSW 8-18, with a few holes and many shifts. Three races sailed today.

One cool thing was there were big waves leftover out of the east, so while beating towards the west we were surfing upwind! That's an odd feeling.
