I thought that stepping a mast for the Vanguard 15 would be fairly easy for one person. It's no picnic to balance the vertical mast and fit it into that very small step. I saw a video where one person easily stepped his mast on a JY14. Seems to me the JY14's mast step is much better designed for easy stepping of mast, even by solo person. My question: is it feasible to install a JY14 mast step in place of that on the Vanguard 15 and, if so, can the base of the mast be fitted with the hardware piece necessary to fit the JY type of step. Would make my life alot easier, cause I'm tired of feeling out of control when that mast starts to sway and tilt as I'm trying to fit it onto the Vanguard step.
