i have a sunfish mast in two sections totaling 14.5 feet. anybody heard of these?

Are they black? Could be for a Super Sunfish. Post a photo. If you want to rig it if it is a Super Sunfish, I have the boom and sail.

Not a SS. Not sure where that mast came from. Is it oval or round?
That two-piece mast appears to have come from another type of boat

the person i bought it from says the boat sails fine.
any issues with using it?

14.5 feet is pretty darn long for a Sunfish mast. It will rig up very strangely. You could see if you could saw the mast down to standard length. Whatever you do, be SURE there is cap on the bottom of the mast. If it is does not have a cap, the mast will eventually saw a hole thru the bottom of the mast step.
