I replaced my orginal with the harken H019... While it's spectacula compared to the original, I have two problems with it... First, I think the ratchet switch is only on one side... second, the ratchet switch will turn off by itself.

That said, the auto-ratchet-off feature happens very infrequently, and it's not too big a pain to look at the block to turn off the ratchet. However, it's a $50 pulley... it should work.

The one I replaced only says 'custom fitting' on the side, was about 1" in diamater and had no bearings.

I agree w/ Rob B...this block is by far the best block i have ever used, the holding power on it is great...comes in especially handy when its honkin out there
