Magnetic compass

Since the electronic compass is not allowed (for now) I’d love to hear what everybody uses as a magnetic compass. There are many types and models out there. What’s your experience and your pro’s and con’s? Any feedback/advice is much appreciated....

CarbonParts was the most popular choice in Lasers before the electronic ones were allowed. No personal experience though

I use (rarely) a Ritchie Kayaker compass and mount it with Velcro (hook and loop). Relatively inexpensive and, I believe, reasonably popular among Sunfish race aficionados.
The CarbonParts compass mentioned above may be nicer, but is quite a bit more expensive.
