Took it out ( I guess it no longer had a keeper chain) to drain the hull after racing a couple of weeks ago and probably set it on the trailer. Got out to the course on Sunday before realizing it wasn't there. Looked all around where I thought the trailer had been parked, but the trailers had been moved to mow the grass, and the plug was nowhere to be found.
I've found new replacements at $17-18 plus shipping, but that seems like a lot. Looking for a creative, cheap solution. So far I'm thinking wine cork and duct tape, but I'm open to suggestions.
I've got inspection ports topside and in the cockpit, so I can pretty easily air out the hull, but I don't think I want to give up the drain feature entirely.
