Sep 10: President's/Leukemia Cup at the Washington Sailing Marina, Alexandria, VA
Every year, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society sponsors a weekend of terrific food and sailing at the Washington Sailing Marina (adjacent to National Airport). There's an (Outback Steakhouse) picnic on Friday Sep 9, and sailing on Saturday (more sailing on Sunday, but not for the board boats). This is a big, casual, and worthwhile event.
An outright donation to the Leukemia Society is encouraged, but not required. Also, please check out the Society's web page for tips and suggestions on fundraising: http://www.lls.org/nca

Depending on how long you stay for the festivities after dinner (included in the $20 registration fee), you can be back home at a reasonable time.
