I am a non-competitive laser sailor 30 years ago. My actual hull, supposedly Canadian origin may be 25 years plus. A year ago I 'm sailing in huge lake high in the mountains of central Colombia where sailing conditions are very demanding for the old boat, that constantntly leaks water and I have been unable to spot the problem, making every sailing potentially dangerous. They are offering me a Laser hull claiming to be around 2009 or 2010. It the aft a label says MADE IN USA and a number 3052853442. Is this an original number, how can I track its model? Where can I post three pics. Another option I have is a Chilean model. Vanguard used to have a factory in Chile, is that true? I greatly appreciate a prompt answer from fellow laserists. Good winds!
