The real genesis of the problem here, as it seems obvious from the lack of response to this thread since March 21, is an ILCA-NA administration Secretary who:
- called for comments only on this Forum and not on the 1000+ member NA Mailing List that has existed since 1994,
- referred to an article accessible by only the dues-paying ILCA-NA members (some of whom never received the article) to encourage exchange of ideas in a public forum.
Dick Rose's excellent article on RRS 42 is surely not a feature that will turn non-members into members. So, why keep it a secret from non-members or from members from other countries, if you want "all get on the same page before the season starts"? What public purpose does this serve?
This will be remembered as the biggest PR failure of this new ILCA-NA administration.
