Jens rig/ outhaul/ cunningham

I have never had to use a jens rig, but was wondering if one would use the outhaul or cunningham,like you would normally?

I'm not an expert on this subject, since I've never used a Jen's rig. However I am in the process of putting that on my boat and I know the answer is, yes, you do use the outhaul and the cunningham as usual.

he is right, a Jens rig will not effect the way the outhaul or cunningham will work. The only think a jens deals with is the hailyard.

Because the Jens is typically used in (very) windy conditions, a light-weight sailor will want the sail relatively flat, I would imagine. In other words, pull on the outhaul and C'ham.
But in choppy conditions or waves, you need to retain power in the sail as well; therefore, as usual, many factors can play a role.

Isn't sailing interesting entertainment?
