1987 J/24 sailboat. USA 4332 is a fresh water well cared for J/24 that has had in excess of 12k spent in upgrades during my 11 years of ownership. Highlights include 2012 Triad dual axle trailer-always stored inside 24/7 365 since new. Never launched and with the following options-electric brakes, bow ladder, spare tire, front and rear trailer jacks and custom bracket for gin pole. New North Mainsail (1 regatta use), New Sobstad Carbon Sport Triradial Genoa (3 hrs use), New Sobstad #4 (great for day sailing when there are just two of you and not 4 people on the rail), New North Navy Blue Mainsail cover and matching cover for tiller. Spin launch bag. All new running rigging, Samson Warp speed Main Halyard, Samson Validator Jib Halyard, etc.-1k total. New lifelines. New teak and holly cabin sole. In addition to sails listed above. Club race/day sails. Reynolds Main, jib and spinnaker, North Genoa and older Dacron main with reef point(s) for cruising. Gin pole for mast stepping. 2003 Johnson 6hp 2 stroke outboard and extra 6 gallon tank. CD player and cockpit speakers. Cobra DSC VHF and masthead antenna. KVH Sailcomp in addition to cockpit bulkhead compass. Swim Ladder, Anchor, chain and rode, dock lines, fenders, horseshoe life ring, throw cushion, first aid kit, flare pistol and flares, 4 PFDs, porta potti, padded rudder bag and OEM water tank.
For the 11 years I have owned the boat, 5 of them were inside 24/7 365 not used and of the remaining 6 years-4 months were spent outside and the remaining 8 months were inside. I think this is the nicest example J/24 of this vintage you will see. She is capable of many things from racing (top 20 finish in a 100 boat fleet at the 20th anniversary midwinter regatta in key west) to cruising (did a week in the keys under my ownership, the only two times I am aware of the boat being in salt water). She is a good day sailor, PHRF racer and micro cruiser and one of the few boats in the American sailboat hall of fame, an honor only given to a select few sailboats. Begin the sailing life you have dreamed of today by contacting me to set up an appointment to view this fine vessel. 231-755-6855 or [email protected]
