I know the whole lawsuit with LP and Bruce is putting a cramp in getting a new boat in the United States, but is anyone making Lasers anywhere else?

Don't think there is an issue with anyone who wants to buy a new Laser not being able to buy one. The only problem is you won't be able to sail that Laser in any official Kirby Torch Class Association sanctioned events.

Of course you can.

I believe that the Lasers currently sold in North America are built in the UK and that the hulls are outfitted in Rhode Island by LP.
I read this somewhere on the Internet; therefore, it must be true

I understand that all new Lasers sold in the area where LP owns the trademark are built in Banbury, Oxfordshire.

I also believe that this, the lawsuit, and the availability of new boats anywhere have nothing to do with one another.

PSA in Australia still builds Lasers for Oceania, and PSJ in Japan for Japan and Korea.

And there are no Torch races anywhere. Yet.

Just adding my 2 cents but I really hope the torch can become a thing, i like how kirby can have control over his "car topper" and i kinda like the torch logo better.
