Is there a tool or a trick to getting the rudder springs off and back on other than brute force?
Thanks,
Fred

Hi Fred,

Find a good strong piece of nylon string, about 20in long, and tie it into a loop.
Hook the loop onto the end of the spring, where it attaches to the spring post.
Grab the inside of the loop and pull straight back and up.
It comes right off. Do the same to replace it.

Ken.
