How old is my boat

If we guess right, based on the photo, do we win her?

Sorry, couldn't resist.

Is the number not on the builders plaque?

Holy COW, that boat is OLD! Just kidding. If you can't find the numbers on the back, check for a sail number sticker in the cockpit. Looks to be in good shape according to the picture.

There are 4 or 5 lasers that are all white at my club and look just like this one and most of them are from either 1990 or 1991

Maybe you can see it.
When I first looked at the photo, I did not see a centerboard. I saw a small cuddy cabin. The top back edge of the board appeared to be the intersection between that cabin top and the cockpit.

Just as I was about to write a comment about the cabin being a clever attempt to keep the cockpit dry, and voicing concern the skipper would have to sit behind that and the boat would not sail correctly...my eyes sorted out the centerboard lying in the cockpit.

The serial number may have been put under the bow eye. That is where mine was put, many UK lasers have their serial number there. The serial number will tell you what year the boat is, where it was made, and the month.
