ummm..i've been sailing all my life...since before i was even born. my dad had a 19' cape dory typhoon then later we traded up to a 30' cape dory and then my dad got into a hunter dealership where my dad currently owns a hunter 386 (38' 6'').

How many of you junior/youth laser sailors...

...have coached training from pros/coaches?
...race only at club level?
...race at larger events, further afield?
...find problems with developing your sailing further? (limited resources/opportunities, difficult to travel etc etc)

Haha.... Words are only words and dont really bother me at all.

I think it is an appropriate time to tell a story about a NY comedian in the 60's or something like that. He was known for swearing and using vulgar words, and one day the police told him before a show that he would be arrested if he used 'dirty' words in his show. The comedian said fine and did his show. It was the dirtiest show he ever did and he never swore once. He later said that it is not the words that are vulgar, but rather the thought behind the word. The cops never bothered him again
