GPS-based speedometers using iPhone or iPad

Anyone have a suuestion for a simple knotmeter app that works on on iPhone or an iPad?
I am determined to avoid drilling a hole in my ‘project’ J/24 ... and would like to try a cheaper alternative to TackTic and Velocitek SpeedPuck options.

It runs on my Apple Watch and syncs up when I’m back to my phone. I sail a laser, so it’s just easier to leave my phone on shore.

as you can see, that nice SSW wind makes for one single tack.The free version will store four of five sails. I’m guessing the paid version will store more.
