Columbia Gorge Sailing Association (CGRA) is seeking a talented hardworking Head Sailing Instructor to oversee CGRA’s instructional program and to assist in the hosting of many advanced sailing clinics and major regattas. The position may include overseeing our on-and-off the water event prep and planning along with managing our fleet of event powerboats.

CGRA is located in the high wind capital of North America, the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area. Our events are held out of the Marine Park in Cascade Locks. We run 7-10 major championships and clinics each summer along with running a small adult and community sailing program for area residents.

In 2016, CGRA will host the Laser North Americans, the WIND Youth Clinic and Regatta, the 29er US Sailing Team Training Camp along with many other events. This is a perfect position for an aspiring Laser sailors who wants to master heavy air.

Applicants should be at least 18 years of age, have a valid US Social Security number, and must have a current US Sailing Level 1 certification or above and up to date First Aid and CPR certifications. Applicant must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds.
