Dear fellow Sunfish enthusiasts, I know that you all - from time to time - have helped to carry Sunfish or Lasers with a banged-up rail just waiting to assault your fingers with some fiberglass/epoxy splinters. This is particularly the case for club boats... In any case, as the Fleet Captain for the local sailing club, I am responsible for these boats and was wondering about our collective wisdom regarding edge trim to both protect those hard-working fingers and, perhaps, the rails themselves. I've looked at some Taco 30-1005W250 vinyl that looks promising but wondered what other ideas/experiences any of you have had - not only for choice of trim but also how to attach it to the edges. Many thanks in advance!
