Hello Laser, Laser Radial Racers and Friends:
The Alamitos Bay Yacht Club (ABYC) in Long Beach CA is hosting the Southern California Yachting Association E.E. Manning Series Regatta March 2-3: http://www.fleetracing.net/event.cfm?id=641&fleet_id=15 . The Manning is a two day invitational regatta for boats without keels under 20ft. and will have separate starts for qualified fleets of Lasers and Radials.
This will be an excellent tune-up for the Laser Midwinters West at California YC March 22-24. Laser and Radial fleet winners will be strong contenders for Perpetual Trophies awarded to largest and second largest fleets. We can count on excellent Race Management of ABYC and refreshments inside the clubhouse Saturday evening to refuel after racing.
There is NO Entry Fee for this regatta!
