The 2022 ILCA District 25 Championship will be held September 3 & 4 in conjunction with the Labor Day Holiday Regatta at the Alamitos Bay Yacht Club (ABYC) in Long Beach CA: ABYC Holiday Series - Labor Day Regatta
The Southern California Youth Yacht Racing Association (SCYYRA) Ullman/Frost Series #1 will also be contested in conjunction with the Labor Day Regatta. Please see the SCYYRA website for Ullman/Frost information: SCYYRA
In addition to ABYC Labor Day Holiday awards, District 25 Championship Perpetual Trophies will be awarded to current ILCA member winners in ILCA7, ILCA6 and ILCA4 classes. ILCA member winners in qualifying fleets (7 competitors in ILCA7 & 6 fleets, 5 competitors in ILCA4) will also be eligible for 20 ILCA Grand Prix points. Accumulated Grand Prix points allow sailors to qualify for entry to world championship events (not including Masters). The points also provide a measure for sailors to evaluate their standing amongst peers within ILCA North America.
Competitors may expect excellent race management and the hospitality of the members and staff of ABYC. Let us know you will be joining us and take advantage of the Early Entry Discount by registering before August 28th.
