Deck Paint deux

I'm about to paint my topsides and splashguard (1979 Sunfish with some fading & crazing) with Pettit Easypoxy. The gent at a local marine store suggested using a Pettit primer called "sandless primer" #6999. By any chance does anyone have experience with this primer/paint combination?
I know it's a long shot, but just in case, any tips/suggestions/warnings would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
A relentless restorer

Yes, checked the Pettit site, and they don't say anything about using their 6999 Sandless primer with the EasyPoxy topsides paint. That's why I'm a little nervous about using it.

Call the company (number is on the web site) and tell them you have a question about their paint. I called about their varnish and got a good response.

Thanks to all for advice.
I spoke with Pettit today who suggested returning the "sandless primer", and use their standard "Easypoxy" primer.

Case Closed.
