This 2009 Laser Standard Atlantic Coast Championship this weekend is shaping up to be another legendary event at Severn Sailing Association in Annapolis Maryland. Sailors trickled in throughout the afternoon and a few took a practice sail in the moderate afternoon winds.
In the evening sailors unpacked their gear and some hung around for dinner at SSA at Dark and Stormy's. Sailors came in from as far as New York, Ohio and Michigan. As the evening registration closed, 75 boats were registered.
The weather forecast for tomorrow is for 5-10 from the north with a 60% chance of rain.
