Cold water sailing -- need suggestions

I am getting several of my Sea Scouts onto 2 Capri's this Sunday morning for sailing instruction and cold water tests. They have been loaned some scuba wetsuit for a couple of weeks. They are going to NC later this month for Sea Scout regional races. I have a kayak spray top I am going to loan to them as well. I've sailed big boats in cold weather, you don't get quite as wet as dinghy sailing.

Can anyone give me their experience in sailing dinghies in cold water? I know the basics about getting them out of the water quickly if anyone capsizes, and reduce their exposure. We have a chase boat available.

I'm looking for knowledge on gloves, gear, moving around, or anything special to consider that you don't encounter while in warmer weather.

thanks
