Classy advertising on a Laser?

I'm seizing the opportunity to sponsor an amazing Laser sailor and overall super nice guy in his Laser campaign this year.

New boat, lots of sails, etc.


Want to know what type of logos/graphics look good on Lasers.
Classy yet effective promotion for the sailor and West Coast Sailing.

What looks best?!

What looks sort of funky and sticks out too much?!
 
I think that nothing is too much. A screen print on the sail, and hull graphic seems to be the normal. Some also have a singlet (Sea product, over life jacket and gear) and it has the company logo on it.


Who is the Sailor?

Take a look at the picture galleries of the recent 'big-time' regattas in Europe (Hyeres, ISF Worlds in Austria, Holland Regatta) and see what you like and don't like.

How about gel coating your logo on the bottom. That way when he capsizes a huge West Coast Sailing logo will be visible to the TV station helicopters circling above!:)
