Chips in gel coat

Ok, so I have this old sunfish that I am repairing. There are chips in the gel coat. Some of the chips are not severe but some you can see the fiberglass. The fiberglass is not damaged though. I have looked up different gel coats and techniques but they contradict each other. What are some suggestions?

Marine Tex™ is priced all over the map . Either a small touch-up kit or a "speedy-set" (in white) is available at Wal-Mart for just $11 :). The small two-tube kits are an easy 1:1 mix.

A Google search under "shopping" will show what is available online—which, in your relatively minor case, will save a drive to Wal-Mart. I don't know who buys the color "gray".

A credit card can help spread it, and a short length of Scotch tape can hold it from sagging "downhill".
