centerboard care tips

If you ever leave your board in the boat when youre not sailing it, make sure you lay it flat on the deck, otherwise the foam heats up and warps the trailing edge of the board. Washing it every time youre out is a given, and do your best not to rest it or knock it on the trailing edge tip at the bottom, it breaks incredibly easy!

-rinse after sailing, (you should wash the hull, rudder, spars as well)
-wash with car or boat detergent
-repair any dings
-lightly wetsand imperfections
-don't wax the centerboard
-store it in a blade bag when you're not sailing
-be careful when launching/reatrieving, don't run aground even on sand
